Understanding Color Theory
Class Description

Understanding Color Theory

Stumped on how to use color? Did you know only 3 colors plus black and white make up every color we see? Color theory is both the science and art of using color. Mary Beth Sasso will explain how humans perceive color; and the visual effects of colors, how to mix, match, or contrast with each other, and how colors communicate. In this class, you will learn how to use a color wheel that shows the relationships between primary colors, secondary colors, tertiary colors, etc. Students will learn color in depth through demos, exercises, and exciting assignments. We will also have a private FaceBook page that we can post our work, ask questions, and share ideas. Color is fun besides life would be boring without it.
