Have you ever looked at the mesmerizing clouds in the sky and felt the urge to paint them? Creating clouds with pastels may seem simple, but it can be challenging. This workshop, led by pastelist Mary Beth Sasso will guide you through the process and help you master this art form quickly. We'll explore the intricate details between colors, the meaning of edges, shapes, and textures, light temperature, the importance of values, and the effects of atmospheric perspective. By the end of the workshop, you will have completed 2 to 3 stunning paintings that draw inspiration from the captivating beauty of clouds. These artworks will be yours to treasure.

Learn how to draw facial features
Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw realistic portraits that capture your subjects' likeness but need help knowing where to begin?
In this workshop, you will learn how to draw facial features such as eyes, noses, ears, and mouths, using shapes, proportions, and relationships to understand their structures. Applying these techniques allows you to create a portrait that accurately captures the subject's likeness.
I will demonstrate the steps and thought processes of developing a drawing from concept to completion. I will also provide several reference photos to study and practice to ensure you completely understand the process. This workshop is limited to six participants, allowing for personalized guidance as you easily create your stunning drawings. I will provide one-on-one help.
